Located in the heart of Calistoga, on the main drag, it's easy to walk everywhere. There are many fine restaurants, two coffee houses, a great book shop, wine tasting rooms, lovely boutique shops, and of course several spas. Calistoga is very quiet, peaceful and charming. We had a very rejuvenating couple's mud bath and massage at Baths at Roman Spa. We had excellent dinners at Bricco Osteria and Sushi Mambo. The hotel was very comfortable, and the staff very nice and helpful. The pool area is lovely, and we enjoyed the natural mineral spa hot tub. Breakfast was coffee with pumpkin, lemon and banana breads, a blueberry muffin, and tangerines. There's a mini fridge, so we grabbed some yogurt, fruit and juices from the nearby market to add to our breakfast. The hotel also has coffee and hot water for tea in the lobby. Would definitely stay here again!

Not only is the breakfast wonderful, but they bring it right to your room! It was the most amazing treat -- tea exactly the way I like it, freshly baked pastry, and fruit. The staff was so courteous and helpful at all times. The entire hotel is like a beautiful piece of history yet at the same time has all the modern conveniences. It's located right in the heart of Main Street so we could walk to everything and the area was perfectly safe, even at night. The rooms was a bit on the small side but that just goes with the historical vibe (and anyway the bathroom was nice and large). My friend said her spa treatment was wonderful and I really enjoyed the thermal jacuzzi. A true 5-star experience!

Great town for a base when visiting Napa Valley. Calistoga still has small town vibe and charm and Mount View is right in the middle of everything on Main Street. Easy walk to everything in town and comfortable drives to activities and wineries throughout Napa Valley. The artist suite we stayed in was quite nice though a bit smaller than it seemed in photos. The outdoor Jacuzzi was really nice and complimented the resort pool and hot tub perfectly. Plus parking that came with the artist suite was a big plus.

Andrew

We were there in the off-season (March), so there were fewer staff and hotel guests. We practically had the pool and hot tub to ourselves, which was unexpected and relaxing. I am sure the vibe is great in the summer, but the outdoor bar was closed, and there were few amenities available at this time of year. Johnny's bar is part of the building, and it was a great place to hang out late. This historic hotel is right on the main street, so very walkable to all the restaurants and shopping.

This place is in the center of town. It was a week and a half before Christmas so it was very slow, which was lovely. We didn’t use the heated pool, only the mineral water jacuzzi and it was great. Open 24 hours! The Calistoga Inn for dinner was perfect! Robert’s Jazz bar is in the hotel and has a great late night speakeasy vibe. The staff was super attentive and friendly. Breakfast served to your room at the time of your choosing. It was perfect.
